How reselling airtime, data and electricity works

You load money (a "float") into a vending account with a provider such as Flash, Kazang or VodaPay. When a customer buys, the value comes off your float, the customer gets a PIN or direct top-up, and you earn a commission.

How it works

  1. Sign up with one provider and get the app or device.
  2. Load a small float.
  3. Sell airtime, data, electricity and other prepaid products.
  4. Commission is added per sale, as set by the provider.

Who buys: neighbours, customers at your shop or stall, commuters and anyone who prefers cash.

A good sign: steady daily sales and a float you top up without stress.

Do it now

Tick it off when it is done. Your ticks are saved on this device.

Quick check

Pick an answer to see how you did.

In a typical case, how long until the first money comes in?

Your challenge

Decide if it fits you

Write one line on whether this path fits your time, your budget and the people around you, and why.

You are done when:

  • You wrote down your answer
  • You know whether to carry on or look at another path

You report this yourself. Nobody checks, so it only counts if you really did it.
